By mdome at Classic Rock
There’s unreleased footage of Creedence Clearwater Revival playing in London’s Royal Albert Hall 40 years ago – and the band would love to see this put out on DVD.
Talking exclusively to Classic Rock, bassist Stu Cook says: “The whole of one of our two shows at the venue (in April 1970) was filmed, and it’s sitting in the vaults. Every year we get closer to the release, inch by inch. Mind you, now that the era of DVDs seems to be over, perhaps we’ve missed the boat!...

Postgame Notebook: Stars 4, Capitals 3, SO
By Mike Vogel - Senior Writer at WashingtonCaps.com
Grand Theft Points – Firing early and often, the Capitals staked themselves to a 2-0 lead after the first 40 minutes of play on Monday against the Dallas Stars. The Caps outshot Dallas by a 42-16 margin in the process. But the Caps got into penalty trouble in the third, and their tenuous penalty-killing unit wasn’t up to the task. The Stars scored three third-period goals on their way to a 4-3 shootout win over Washington...

By Rick Marshall at MTV's Splash Page
Sure, the shots of Iron Man and War Machine putting a beatdown on an army of robotic drones in the latest "Iron Man 2" trailer was pretty amazing, but I think most fans of ol' Shellhead will agree that the debut of Tony Stark's new briefcase armor was the highlight of the second official trailer...

After muscling his way onto everyone’s radar with two sparkling performances last year as a stand-in for an injured Timo Glock at Toyota, watching Kobayashi in Bahrain will be a treat indeed...
How Hockey Blogging Introduces You to Heroes
By pucksandbooks at On Frozen Blog
Two moments last week, both occurring off the ice, reminded me of the greatness of our game, and my particular great fortune in being located where I am in covering it.
I arrived in Hershey last Thursday morning with the simplest of objectives: snapping a few pictures of the Bears’ annual outdoor practice. Mostly I wanted merely to escape the office for a day, to get out in the fresh air a bit and view, rather thoughtlessly and purposelessly, a pro hockey team’s traditional weekday drills, in a novel setting...
