David Talks to The Guardian
Posted by Jack at David Tennant - Fan News Blog

David Tennant: 'My bedpost really has very few notches' – interview

He's been Casanova, Romeo and the Doctor. Just don't call David Tennant a pin-up.

There's a moment in the current production of Much Ado About Nothing that I particularly love. It's not when David Tennant's Benedick makes his entrance as a sun-bronzed prat in a golf buggy, nor his Cary Grant-style rat-a-tat-tat delivery of lines such as, "I would my horse had the speed of your tongue", not even when he finally gets to kiss Catherine Tate's Beatrice. It's the encore when Tennant skips across the stage, grinning from ear to ear, and you just know there's nothing on earth he'd rather be doing. I've never seen an actor so happy in his job...

'Captain America' Star Chris Evans Is Researching
As Many Origin Stories As Possible

Posted by Josh Wigler at MTV's Splash Page

Created by Joe Simon and Jack Kirby in 1941, Steve Rogers brings a considerable amount of published history to the table as Captain America. With well over 600 issues of the star-spangled superhero's adventures published in print, there's no question that the cast and crew of "The First Avenger: Captain America" are aware of the character's rich history.

If nothing else, it's a history that leading man Chris Evans has found extraordinarily useful in approaching the role of Steve Rogers, the scrawny youth turned super-soldier at the center of director Joe Johnston's currently shooting Marvel Comics adaptation...

So What Does The Fact The Hershey Bears Repeated
As Calder Cup Champs Mean For the Caps and Other Musings....

By Usually Frustrated Caps Fan at Mark's Musings

Last night, the Hershey Bears repeated as AHL Calder Cup Champions. The Bears claimed the 2010 Calder Cup at home with a fairly impressive, and fairly dominating 4-0 victory over the Texas Stars. I watched the majority of the game on NHL Network and had several musings at the time that I've thought some more about this morning and might be worth sharing.

During the game it occurred to me that it's clear there is likely little to be gained through another season in the AHL for the development of the following players: John Carlson, Karl Alzner, Mathieu Perrault, and Michael Neuvirth. All four of these guys should be on the Capitals rooster for the entirety of next season...

Don't get me wrong, I don't think the Capitals were the archetypal Stanley Cup team, that they didn't have holes, or that they should be happy enough with their personnel that they don't make changes this offseason, but I do think they had the talent to be a legitimate Stanley Cup contender...
