Creedence Clearwater Revival: London DVD On The Way?
By mdome at Classic Rock

There’s unreleased footage of Creedence Clearwater Revival playing in London’s Royal Albert Hall 40 years ago – and the band would love to see this put out on DVD.

Talking exclusively to Classic Rock, bassist Stu Cook says: “The whole of one of our two shows at the venue (in April 1970) was filmed, and it’s sitting in the vaults. Every year we get closer to the release, inch by inch. Mind you, now that the era of DVDs seems to be over, perhaps we’ve missed the boat!...

Not many drivers have been able to defend their title. Jenson Button’s bid to join that small but illustrious group starts this weekend in Bahrain. Just to add to the challenge, he will have to race against two drivers who’ve done it: Michael Schumacher and Fernando Alonso. And with the likes of Lewis Hamilton, Sebastian Vettel, Felipe Massa, Nico Rosberg and Mark Webber also chasing his crown, this season promises to be a mouth watering affair...

Postgame Notebook: Stars 4, Capitals 3, SO
By Mike Vogel - Senior Writer at WashingtonCaps.com

Grand Theft Points – Firing early and often, the Capitals staked themselves to a 2-0 lead after the first 40 minutes of play on Monday against the Dallas Stars. The Caps outshot Dallas by a 42-16 margin in the process. But the Caps got into penalty trouble in the third, and their tenuous penalty-killing unit wasn’t up to the task. The Stars scored three third-period goals on their way to a 4-3 shootout win over Washington...

The 'Iron Man 2' Briefcase Armor: A Brief History
By Rick Marshall at MTV's Splash Page

Sure, the shots of Iron Man and War Machine putting a beatdown on an army of robotic drones in the latest "Iron Man 2" trailer was pretty amazing, but I think most fans of ol' Shellhead will agree that the debut of Tony Stark's new briefcase armor was the highlight of the second official trailer...

Exclusive Karun Chandhok Q&A: It's thrilling but surreal
Posted at Formula1.com

Coming the week before the 2010 season gets underway, the launch of the HRT team (formerly Campos) - and the announcement of second driver Karun Chandhok - was a very last-minute affair. Although he is yet to drive the car, and despite the mountain of work and obstacles still facing the team, it’s a dream come true for 26 year-old Chandhok, who had almost lost faith in realising his Formula One ambitions. The second Indian F1 driver in the history of the sport describes his thoughts as he prepares to make his debut this weekend...

Exclusive Kobayashi Q&A: With luck, we can fight for podiums
Posted at Formula1.com

BMW Sauber’s Kamui Kobayashi may look like he’s just stepped out of Tokyo’s trend-setting Shibuya district, but he’s also a determined racer, keen to make an excellent impression as he embarks on his first complete season. After muscling his way onto everyone’s radar with two sparkling performances last year as a stand-in for an injured Timo Glock at Toyota, watching Kobayashi in Bahrain will be a treat indeed...

How Hockey Blogging Introduces You to Heroes
By pucksandbooks at On Frozen Blog

Two moments last week, both occurring off the ice, reminded me of the greatness of our game, and my particular great fortune in being located where I am in covering it.

I arrived in Hershey last Thursday morning with the simplest of objectives: snapping a few pictures of the Bears’ annual outdoor practice. Mostly I wanted merely to escape the office for a day, to get out in the fresh air a bit and view, rather thoughtlessly and purposelessly, a pro hockey team’s traditional weekday drills, in a novel setting...

Boudreau on Schultz: 'He's playing the best he's played
in his career'

By Tarik El-Bashir at Capitals Insider

..."Jeff is playing the best he's played in his career in this stretch," he said. "His plus minus ...sometimes it's a stat that you can look at and say it's a real good stat or it doesn't mean much. But every time you look up, he's on [the ice] for two goals for and none against. I think he's a plus 23, in less than 50 games, which is a real good indicator that when he's on the ice, something good is going to happen."...
