Dump 'N ChaseWashington’s 2010 NHL Entry Draft netted a total of five players, the team's fewest since 1979 and tied for the fewest in franchise history. Although the ’10 draft may be short on quantity for the Capitals, the team believes it will prove to be a good one quality-wise.
Russian forward Evgeny Kuznetsov went to Washington in the first round (26th overall). One of the most commonly uttered draft day phrases is a variation of, “we couldn’t believe he was there when we picked.” In Kuznetsov’s case, that’s true. The Caps had him ranked 12th on their list, and they tried to make a deal to move up and grab Kuznetsov about 10 picks earlier...

During a recent interview with Collider, "X-Men" producer Lauren Schuler Donner indicated that "First Class" will start shooting in London in August.

On July 1st, hockey continues with the Unrestricted Free Agents hitting the open market. Although it's a more expensive route in acquiring veteran players, McPhee has also fared pretty well with this avenue. However, trades are where you usually get better value for your money. It'll be interesting to see who Washington is able to resign, who we might lose, and who George decides to bring to the team.
