Happy Birthday Eddie Van Halen! Eddie was born in The Netherlands on January 26, 1955. He and his family eventually moved to Pasadena, California in the USA, after he had reached the age of 7 years old. He is one of the greatest rock guitarists to have ever lived. Most of his rocking has been as a founding member (along with brother Alex) of the highly successful band, Van Halen.
Not to mess around, we'll get right to the 'Today's Tune'. To feature Eddie in the best way on his birthday, we have the original studio track, and also an extended live version of the famous solo guitar creation, "Eruption". The studio version was recorded in the Fall of 1977, and it was released on the band's first album on February 10, 1978.
