2010-11 Rink Wrap: Mike Knuble
By David Getz at Japers' Rink
When Knuble signed with the Capitals in the summer of 2009, it was clear he was being brought in for one reason: to bring a big body, net-crashing presence to the first line and the powerplay, and using that framework, his 2010-11 season was largely a successful one. 2010-11 Rink Wrap: Marcus Johansson
By Becca H at Japers' Rink
...After a somewhat slow start to the season, Johansson gradually began to find his stride as an NHLer and by the midpoint of the year was showing confidence and a stronger offensive side than he had in his first few weeks with the team. He had just five points spread out across the first twenty-three games; from December 21 on, however, he didn't go more than three games without a point until the final five games of the regular season and eventually racked up 27 points - 16 of which came in the second half of the season...
Classic Rock’s New Releases Round-Up
By mdome at Classic Rock
...Two more reissues from Twisted Sister on the Armoury label, and it’s a mixed bag. What 1982’s Under The Blade, the band’s debut, may lack in skill and sophistication is more than compensated for by a no holds barred, totally committed barrel of charisma and bullish belief. Oh, and the songs are rather splendid...

In times past, Formula One drivers negotiated the Circuit de Monaco practically one-handed, their right palms rubbed raw by the thousands of gear changes required during up to 100 laps of the tortuous track in the Principality. Today's drivers may have a slightly easier time of it, in that they can at least keep both hands on the wheel, but those hands are also significantly busier in 2011...
