As much as it hurts to say it, Brent Johnson is no longer a goaltender for the Washington Capitals. The free agent signed a one year contract with the Pittsburgh Penguins today, for the 2009-2010 season. His new hockey home is Mellon Arena - the "Tit in Pitt".

He played well enough to be the number one goalie in DC before getting injured this past season. Then he became the odd man out ... again. "Bye Bye Johnny", we're gonna miss you.

Sad to see him go - it'll be really wierd seeing him in a Penguins sweater...
He's following in the footsteps of his father, who also played for both the Blues and the Pens. I hope things go well for him, when he faces teams other than the Caps.
