Bob Marley (February 6, 1945 – May 11, 1981) died on this day in 1981. In remembrance of Marley, the most well known raggae music artist of all time, our 'Today's Tune' is "Stir It Up" (1973 single - written in 1967, recorded in 1972).
It was his first successful song outside Jamaica. With well over 14 million views on YouTube, the single is performed in the most watched Bob Marley video on the site, making it an obvious choice. Since that video was cut short, I picked another longer posted version of the same video. However, there are still longer versions available.
