Today's Tune: "Easy Money" By Foghat

Happy Birthday Joe Pesci! Pesci turned 67 years old today. He was born to be an Italian-American character actor, and that's exactly what he did.

After starring in his forth movie, the 1980 boxing film 'Raging Bull', Joe became a very busy and sought after actor. Usually playing a bad guy, whether in a drama or comedy, he appeared in 33 films between 1961 and 2006. The long list includes hits such as 'Lethal Weapon 2' (1989), 'Goodfellas' (1990), 'Home Alone' (1990) and 'My Cousin Vinny' (1992).

Pesci retired from acting in 1999, but did later make a cameo appearance for his buddy Robert De Niro, in the 2006 film 'The Good Shepherd'. He is also due to star in 'The Love Ranch', obviously a brothel drama, with iconic actress Helen Mirren later this year.

For our 'Today's Tune', I was thinking about Joe Pesci's performance alongside funny man Rodney Dangerfield in the 1983 comedy, 'Easy Money' (Watch Trailer). There are a few bands who have recorded songs bearing that title, but my favorite is "Easy Money" (1978) by blues-rock band Foghat. So, here it is.
