It's birthday number 63 for Flint, Michigan native Craig Frost, today. Frost is a keyboard player, and has twice been a member of Grand Funk Railroad, first from 1972 to 1977, and currently since 2005. He spent most of the time in between as a member of Bob Seger's Silver Bullet Band.
For this 'Today's Tune', we go back to 1973 for our selection of song. From the album of the same name, it's the well received GFR single titled "We're An American Band".
