Junior's Reading And Viewing List:
April 5 - 7, 2010

Last Update - April 12, 2010 at 9:47 PM EDT

After a much longer delay than I would ever care to have gone through, here is Junior's 'Reading And Viewing List' for April 5 through April 7, 2010.

With that delay in mind, I've decided to include some items in this list that normally would have been grouped into separate single subject entries. For example, those of you looking for a review post on the 2010 Malaysian Grand Prix will find your video and article links here instead.

Adrian Sutil Q&A: I needed Malaysia result
Posted at Formula1.com

The smile is well and truly back on Adrian Sutil’s face. While 2010’s two opening races were a bit disappointing for the Force India driver, the Malaysian Grand Prix saw a real reversal in fortunes, as Sutil came home fifth to move one point clear of seven-time champion Michael Schumacher in the standings. With any feelings of self doubt gone following Sepang, and the VJM03 looking more and more like a regular points’ scorer, the young German is targeting more success at the forthcoming Chinese race, as he explained to Formula1.com...

Coming From Ahead – Washington downed the Pittsburgh Penguins by a 6-3 count in the Capitals’ last regular season game ever at Mellon Arena on Tuesday. With the win, the Caps have swept a season’s series (4-0) from the Pens for the first time in franchise history...

It has to be a great feeling to knock off the Penguins four straight times. Throughout this regular season whenever the Caps have faced Pittsburgh they've managed to bring their best to the table for a good stretch of the game.

'Big Bang Theory' Cast Spotted In Superhero Drag,
Wil Wheaton to Blame?

By Jill Pantozzi at MTV's Splash Page

Men dressing in superhero drag isn't something you run into very often at comic conventions, but you definitely don’t see it on network television. All of that is about to change come April 12 when the cast of “The Big Bang Theory” get in touch with their feminine side. In a big way.

What events could possibly lead to Howard dressing as Batgirl, Sheldon as an appropriately sized Wonder Woman, Leonard as Supergirl and Raj as a Hallie Berry Catwoman? According to Entertainment Weekly (where the above photo debuted), executive producer Bill Prady isn’t saying — but with the episode titled "The Wheaton Recurrence,” you can bet returning guest-star and archenemy Wil Wheaton (playing himself) has something to do with it...

Ogier gets New Zealand bonus
Posted at WRC.com

Citroen Junior Team driver Sebastien Ogier will contest next month’s Rally New Zealand - but his team-mate Kimi Raikkonen remains uncertain for the Auckland-based event.

Ogier’s 2010, Red Bull-backed programme was scheduled to include every event except New Zealand, but extra budget has been sourced to put the 26-year-old on the plane to the other side of the world. There remains a chance former Formula 1 World Champion Raikkonen will join him in New Zealand, but Citroen Junior Team manager Benoit Nogier said it’s more likely only one car will head south for the start of the fifth round of the World Rally Championship on May 6...

Jordan's rally rescue efforts rewarded
Posted at WRC.com

A massive Jordanian national effort has been recognised with the Abu Dhabi Spirit of the Rally award after an intense rescue operation prevented the cancellation of the Jordan Rally.

The worst rains for 20 years hit Jordan in the weeks leading up to the event, causing severe damage and destroying parts of the stages. Only a huge reconstruction effort, involving a joint national endeavour between the army, Government and Amman Municipality and co-ordinated by the organising committee, put the event back on track...

End Of The Road
By Mike Vogel - Senior Writer at WashingtonCaps.com

A night after taking a 3-2 overtime decision over the Boston Bruins at Verizon Center, the Capitals head to Pittsburgh for a Tuesday night date with the Penguins. The game is Washington’s final road contest of the season, it is the back end of the Caps’ last set of back-to-back contests in 2009-10, and it is the Capitals’ final regular season visit to venerable Mellon Arena, which will give way to a new barn in the ‘Burgh next season.

For Washington, Tuesday’s tilt is yet another tune-up as the Caps prepare for the start of the Stanley Cup playoffs next week...

Caps Outlast Bruins
By Joe Beninati - Washington Capitals Play-by-Play
at Comcast SportsNet - Washington, DC

The outcome of tonight was in doubt for a long time, mainly because the Bruins played their passive wait-and-see style very well. You have to give Boston credit. Claude Julien knows his club is offensively challenged, so they rely on a scheme that is patient and consistent. They look to counter attack off of mistakes and they are pretty good at forcing their opponents into them.

This was a good game to watch the goalies work. Jose Theodore and Tuukka Rask were very efficient in the way they covered the crease. There were times when you want to check Rask for a pulse, he's so calm. Theodore displated his quick reflexes a number of times in key moments in this contest...

52 Pick-Up – On a night in which No. 52 (Mike Green) sat out for a night of rest, Washington picked up win No. 52 on the season, a 3-2 overtime decision over the Boston Bruins.

With the beloved science-fiction series bidding adieu to former star David Tennant last season and welcoming Smith as the new time-and-space-traveling adventurer, all eyes are on the new Doctor as he picks up where his celebrated predecessor left off.

Chris Evans Doesn't Think Captain America Will Be 'The Boss' In 'Avengers'
By Rick Marshall at MTV's Splash Page

As the new face of Marvel's star-spangled superhero Captain America, Chris Evans is likely to play a major role in not only "The First Avenger: Captain America," but also in the 2012 superhero team-up film "The Avengers." Comic book fans know soldier-turned-superhero Steve Rogers as the character who unites many of Marvel's most prominent heroes against a threat too great for them to tackle individually — but does Evans know that?

MTV News caught up with the actor, who also plays Jensen in director Sylvain White's upcoming adaptation of the action series "The Losers," during this weekend's WonderCon to find out if he's intimidated by the prospect of giving orders to "Iron Man" star Robert Downey Jr. when it comes time for "The Avengers."...

Malaysia race analysis - Red Bull back in the hunt

Coupled with Mark Webber’s second place, the result means the Milton Keynes-based team are very much back in the fight for the title...
