On January 21, 1976, the supersonic Concorde jet was put into service by both Great Britain and France. London, England to Bahrain and Paris, France to Rio De Jineiro, Brazil were the first routes for the speedy metal bird.
This bit of flight history makes for an easy connection to our 'Today's Tune' on this day. Welsh rock band Budgie makes an appearance with the well wishing motivator track, "Zoom Club", off the 'In For The Kill' (1974) album.
