Today's Tune: "Candle In The Wind 1997" By Elton John

It was on August 31, 1997 that England's Princess of Wales Diana was killed in a car crash. The deadly crash happened in an underpass tunnel in Paris, France, and it also took the lives of her lover Dodi Al-Fayed and the driver of the car they were riding in. The loss of Diana moved singer Elton John to create another version of his older hit song "Candle In The Wind" . John wrote the music, while the lyrics to the original version had been written by Bernie Taupin. Though many people remember it as "Goodbye England's Rose", the actual title is "Candle In The Wind 1997".
