Rod Price, of the incredible British blues rock band Foghat, was born on November 22, 1947. He joined the band when they formed in 1971. Rod's amazing slide guitar playing was an important part of Foghat's original sound for the 13 albums he appeared on. Price played on a few other albums during his life, including a couple solo efforts, before head trauma injuries suffered while falling down a set of stairs at his home in Wilton, New Hampshire took his life on March 22, 2005.
